The biggest giving day of the year! Giving Tuesday

God has blessed StreetWise Georgia so much this year, but as you are thinking of your favorite charities that you will put on your Giving List, please consider giving financially to StreetWise so that we can continue our mission to help more families within our community.

Gwinnett County’s population is approximately 927,781, with over 12% of them currently living below the poverty level. StreetWise Georgia serves not only low income and poverty-level families in Gwinnett County, but also the surrounding counties of Greater Atlanta.  StreetWise makes an impact on minimizing food insecurity by distributing food to struggling families while providing training and the necessary tools for clients to return to a state of independence.

In 2018, over 1.4 million pounds of food left our facility in the hands of those in need. On average, a client household was able to save over $517 on groceries every visit.

What is GAgives on #GivingTuesday?

It’s our state’s annual nonprofit giving event – starting on November 1st and culminating with a 24-hour bonanza of giving on #GivingTuesday, the Tuesday after Thanksgiving; this year, on December 3, 2019. Launched in 2012, the GAgives movement has helped thousands of nonprofits raise more than $28 million, thanks to the generosity of some 160,000 supporters.

Thank You! for being part of the StreetWise Georgia mission to help struggling families get back on their feet and functioning independently.
