Every parent knows the feeling. It’s Christmas morning, the house is quiet, and you’re waiting for the moment your child sees what’s under the tree. For many local families, that moment carries worry this year. Rent is due, the grocery bill keeps climbing, and gifts feel out of reach.
The StreetWise Georgia Christmas Store exists so that worry doesn’t get the final word.
What Is the StreetWise Christmas Store?
The Christmas Store is a dignity-centered holiday shopping experience for StreetWise client families. Parents walk through rows of brand-new, donated toys and choose gifts for their own children, paying just pennies on the dollar.
That choice matters. A parent who picks out a gift knows their child’s favorite color, the game they keep talking about, and the toy they’ve been dreaming of. On Christmas morning, the gift comes from Mom or Dad, and that’s exactly how it should be.
Last year, the Christmas Store served 469 kids and distributed 1,714 toys to families across our community. This year, we want to do even more, and we can’t do it without you.

The easiest way to give is through our StreetWise Christmas Store Amazon Registry. We’ve included gifts at every price point, along with options for older kids and teens, who are often the hardest to shop for.
Buy Your Own New Toys and Drop Them Off
You’re not limited to the registry. Feel free to shop anywhere and bring your gifts to StreetWise. The only requirement is that all toys must be new.
Drop off new toys at 1770 Cedars Road, Lawrenceville, GA 30045A gentle nudge: Our hardest gifts to fill are mid-level to higher-value items. Think building sets, art kits, sports equipment, board games, headphones, or gifts for tweens and teens. If you’re able to give at that level, those items make a big difference on the shelves.

Don’t have time to shop? We’ll do it for you. Give online through our donation page or mail a check, and write “Christmas Store” in the notes. Our team will shop for the gifts families need most.

The Christmas Store takes a lot of hands, and volunteer shifts start as early as November. Whether you can give a few hours ahead of the event or serve families on December 19 at Gas South Arena, there’s a place for you.

At StreetWise Georgia, Christmas is a celebration of the greatest gift ever given. Jesus came into the world with hope for every person, and that hope is still the heart of everything we do.
We believe every family is created and loved by God and deserves to be treated with dignity. The Christmas Store is one way we live that out. It’s a way to love well, to show families they aren’t forgotten, and to remind all of us that we’re better together.
