It All Started with a Bus and a Heart to Serve
In 1988, Terry and Pat Powell left behind their corporate careers with one goal in mind: to serve low-income families and share the love of God.
Armed with a heart for service and a recognizable “big bus,” they rolled into downtown Atlanta’s housing communities, offering food, clothing, hygiene items, and hope. What started as a mobile outreach has evolved into a thriving nonprofit in Lawrenceville, Georgia, serving more than 8,500 families each year.
What We Believe. How We Work. Who We Are.
Our values shape every volunteer shift, every bag of groceries, and every conversation at our door.
These values guide our team, our volunteers, and every decision we make.
If they resonate with you — we'd love for you to get involved.
